Doug LaRue's art style has been developed over a productive career that began in grade school creating a dancing catfish art for a family restaurant called the Toad Suck Catfish Inn. LaRue extra curricular activities included photography and design for a national award winning high school yearbook which lead to a college scholarship. LaRue continued to produce art for Texas A&M University publications as well as regional newspapers. After graduation LaRue was hired to produce two 200+ page yearly catalogues for a sports equipment manufacturer where he also illustrated two books. LaRue moved on to become Artist / Art Director for a small publishing company that produced high quality coffee table history books and children's books. Doug's award winning art has been sought after for by a wide range of industries who produce creative media projects for their clients or audiences.
